Distribution Forklift Coordinator

About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive forklift operator to help drive our logistics operations. In this role you'll be at the heart of our supply chain—ensuring accurate shipments smooth inventory flows and seamless coordination between production and delivery. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining efficiency accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Inspect contents of shipments to confirm accuracy with manifests invoices or orders.

• Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading shipping orders and work orders.

• Select appropriate shipping methods using your knowledge of routes procedures and rates.

• Track and log shipment data—weight charges availability damages and discrepancies.

• Maintain organized inventory records and report on stock levels and costs.

• Safely pack label and prepare items for shipment using tools and postage systems.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material delivery and movement.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Working knowledge of shipping laws logistics practices and compliance regulations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (experience with logistics software is a plus).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory control.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to lift and move materials using hand trucks conveyors or other equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications a plus.
