We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist with at least 3 years of CNC 3-axis milling experience. The Mill Machinist will set up and operate CNC 3-axis mills to manufacture plastic and non-metallic parts according to customer specifications blueprints and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC 3-axis milling machines for new and repeat jobs.

  • Edit send and retrieve CNC programs as needed.

  • Read and interpret blueprints travelers sketches and technical documents.

  • Use measuring and inspection tools such as micrometers calipers height gages and comparators.

  • Inspect completed work and ensure parts meet quality specifications.

  • Troubleshoot non-conforming parts and follow proper procedures.

  • Complete production paperwork and MRP documentation.

  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production setup and programming issues.

  • Perform hand-work and other non-CNC tasks when needed.

  • Help improve cycle times setup times efficiency organization and shop processes.

  • Maintain a safe clean and organized work area using 5S principles.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant CNC mill experience.

  • Strong understanding of CNC mill programs formatting and editing.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.

  • Strong shop math skills including measurement conversions.

  • Experience using precision inspection equipment.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing software such as JobBOSS.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently multitask and prioritize assignments.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Technical school or NTMA certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.

  • Frequent walking bending and repetitive hand/arm movements.

  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance available for items over 25 lbs.

  • Ability to work safely around large machinery and equipment.

Work Environment:

  • Clean well-ventilated machine shop/production environment.

  • Moderate noise levels.

  • Safety glasses and other required PPE must be worn while operating machinery.
