Casual Laborer – Gypsum Board Plant

Pay: $16.00 per hour

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team at a fast-paced Gypsum Board Manufacturing Plant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work staying active throughout the shift and being part of an industrial production environment.

Position Overview

The Casual Laborer will support daily operations within the board plant by maintaining cleanliness assisting with material handling and ensuring work areas remain safe and organized. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoveling and sweeping production areas

• General cleanup throughout the plant

• Lifting and carrying materials up to 20 lbs consistently

• Supporting plant operations as needed

• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Approximately 60% indoors and 40% outdoors

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the 8-hour shift

• Frequent lifting bending and carrying

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule & Breaks

• 8-hour shifts

• Two paid 15-minute breaks

• One 30-minute lunch break

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation (no public bus route available)

• Ability to perform physical labor for the duration of the shift

• Dependable and punctual
