Maintenance Inventory Clerk
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Inventory Clerk to support our maintenance operations. In this role you’ll be the key link between our maintenance team and the parts tools and materials they need to keep our facility running smoothly. You’ll manage inventory track supplies and help ensure that our maintenance department operates efficiently and without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance parts and supplies organize stock and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored.
Receiving & Distribution:
Receive incoming parts supplies and equipment; verify shipments; and ensure timely storage and distribution.
Record Keeping:
Update inventory databases and software (CMMS) maintain logs of all movements and generate reports on usage and stock levels.
Cycle Counts & Audits:
Conduct regular physical inventory checks and audits to confirm accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Team Collaboration:
Partner with maintenance technicians and project teams to ensure all required materials are available for scheduled repairs and maintenance.
Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality service.
Administrative Support:
Assist with work order tracking data entry and other inventory-related administrative duties.
Qualifications & Skills
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in tracking and recording inventory.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to maintain an orderly and efficient storage environment.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using inventory management systems (CMMS) and computer applications.
Communication: Clear and professional communication with internal teams and external partners.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and moving moderately heavy items as part of daily tasks.
Problem-Solving: Resourceful and able to identify inventory needs resolve discrepancies and support continuous improvement.
